Groceries and Errands

Being a family caregiver is tough work, especially when there are errands to run and groceries to buy. Affinity Health can help with mounting caregiver responsibilities. Our caregivers are ready and willing to pick up groceries for your senior loved ones, or accompany them on errands.

Those caregivers that have vehicles to use for errands, have the proper insurance to do so. If you or your loved one needs a ride for these errands you can rest assured that proper coverage is in place.

All errands are run based on our clients’ requests and we can schedule these errands according to your schedule or as items, such as groceries, are required

In addition to doing Groceries, we can also run other errands such as:

• Drive to doctor’s appointments
• Drop off laundry at the dry cleaners.
• Bring items to Storage
• Go shopping for clothes or household items
• Take pets for a walk
• Drive clients anywhere they may need to go

All outings in an employee’s vehicle will have a per-kilometre charge to cover gas and wear-and-tear on the vehicle. A client’s vehicle can also be used if one is available.
